Our Imaging Services is one of many valuable resources at Northern Cochise Community Hospital. We are a completely digital department, which allows greater flexibility in bringing everything modern medicine has to offer, right here in Northern Cochise County. We take great pride in being able to provide the latest technology in health care imaging.

Services

  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) - magnetic field and computer-generated radio waves create detailed images of inside your body.
  • Computed tomography (CT scan) – this non-invasive method uses a series of x-rays to create detailed images.
  • 3D mammography - combines multiple breast X-rays to make a three-dimensional picture of the breast.
  • Ultrasound - uses very high frequency sound waves to make images.
  • Bone density/DEXA – along with taking pictures, it measures the strength and mineral content of your bones.
  • Radiography/X-ray – a method using high-energy electromagnetic radiation to make images.
  • Echocardiogram (ECHO) - uses high frequency sound waves (ultrasound) to make pictures of your heart.

Before arriving for your appointment, be sure to prepare in advanced to ensure a quick and smooth procedure. Talk with your provider before and after your appointment is scheduled and be sure to follow directions provided by your physician.
