About the scholarship program 

The NCCH Scholarship Program provides a unique and valuable opportunity for aspiring Students and NCCH employees to advance their education in fields such as nursing, radiology, laboratory sciences, rehabilitation services, cardiopulmonary/respiratory therapy, ultrasound, medicine, medical health care support services and other critical health disciplines.

NCCH Health Care Scholarship applications must be submitted to Human Resources no later than March 31, 2025.

All applications are available from the NCCH hospital lobby or Human Resources.

Tier 1: High School Seniors/Post-Secondary/Non-Traditional Student Applicants:

Scholarships awarded to high school seniors, post-secondary, or non-traditional students

Must be planning to demonstrate a commitment to pursuing/entering a career or advancing their qualification in health care-related field or program.

Application Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a resident in the NCCH service area  (ZIP codes: 85605, 85606, 85610, 85625, 85632, 85643, 85644)
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Must attend U.S.-based college/institution or approved health care program.
  • Submit completed NCCH Tier 1 Application – Students Scholarship packet

Applications must be postmarked or hand delivered no later than March 31, 2025. Please deliver to:

Tier 2: NCCH Employee Applicants:

The scholarship program is available to full-time employees in good standing who work at Northern Cochise Community Hospital. Employee scholarships are awarded based on review of any disciplinary action on record within the last 12 months and scope of continuing education related to course work specifically relevant to the job or that will enhance the job skills in health care-related field. Financial need may also be considered.
