Our scholarship program is available to residents within the Northern Cochise Community Hospital district service area. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, scholastic merit and a GPA of at least a 3.0 (if applicable), a documented intent to become certified or licensed in a health care career field and plan to return to serve the communities in Northern Cochise County.The scholarship committee will make the final decision concerning scholarship recipients. The scholarships for high school students, non-traditional students and post-secondary school recipients will be awarded to the educational facility on behalf of the student upon proof of enrollment verification. Approved recipients of scholarships will be encouraged to apply for continuing support during their education in a qualified health care career field and accredited institution.Requesting an NCCH Scholarship
Contact Human Resources to request a scholarship application.To request a scholarship, an applicant will need:- plans to attend a U.S.-based college/institution.
- a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- to provide a current transcript with high school or post-secondary grades.
- to pursue a career in a health care-related field.
- two written recommendations.
- a written one-page essay on interest in health care.
